I have well over 25 years of experience in the film industry, particularly in the Art Department.
My clients benefit from my good knowledge of shooting procedures, my feel for what the camera will see and a rather well developed sense of imagination; I can visualise what the director would like to see.
I have a degree in Architecture from the University of Cape Town. Drawing comes quite naturally to me.
During an extended stay in Paris, I focused primarily on interior design and finishes, and my work has added atmosphere and unique personality to the homes of a number of prominent Parisians. (I am available to relocate, and hold a valid EU passport.)
I have been nominated for an Artes award for set décor with ‘Arende’ and have won the prestigious Avanti award for production design for ‘Angels in a Cage’.
I am multi-talented and specialise in ink sketches, model-making and painted back-drops.
